  1. When it comes to attracting capital, don’t be discouraged by negative responses

If you don’t plan on funding the entire operation of your restaurant business yourself and are interested in reaching out to potential stakeholders for capital, don’t be discouraged if some of the individuals who you talk to reject your equity offer. Instead, fine-tune your business plan and reach out to further potential investors who may be keen to do business with you.

If you’re wise you’ll also learn from each experience of rejection which you face as a businessman or woman.

  1. Spend adequate time networking

Ideally, you should spend a bit of time each day networking on behalf of your company. As an example, if your company is searching for potential investors you should reach out to potential investors by email or phone each day. Or talk to contacts who may be able to introduce you to the right investors.

As an alternate example, if you’re looking for new suppliers for your restaurant business, you should allocate a small amount of time each day to contact and research potential suppliers.

  1. Ensure to market your restaurant group online

In today’s social media-obsessed society it’s well worth your time ensuring that your restaurant group, as well as each individual restaurant which makes up your company, is adequately and professionally marketed online. As with careful planning, you should be able to expose each of your company’s restaurants to hundreds of thousands of potential new customers.

As well as having a professional website set up for your restaurant group, you should also invest time and energy into ensuring that each restaurant that you own also has a professional, attractive, easy to navigate website. Furthermore, each of your restaurants should also have an active presence on a multitude of different social media sites. Some examples of which include Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

If your budget has a bit of flexibility it may also be well worth your while to employ a part-time or full-time social media manager for your business!

  1. Make regular amendments to your business plan

In order to achieve success, which you desire it’s well worth updating your business plan every time that you meet one of your goals early so that you can chase even bigger goals sooner.

  1. Hire employees who are as persistent, motivated and determined as you are

Make sure to hire employees who are just as persistent, motivated and determined as you are for your business to succeed. That way you’ll have the right people working for your business when your business faces temporary setbacks and obstacles. Also train them according to your state’s laws and regulations so they stand out among other staff by their knowledge about food handling and certification by an approved RBS training provider.

  1. Become an expert problem solver

If you’re able to think creatively, you’ll be able to solve all of the problems which arise as part of running a restaurant group.

If you follow the five persistence related tips listed above, your restaurant business is sure to grow from strength to strength. Both in the short term and the long term.
