What Seniors Need to Know About the Costs of Memory Care

When seniors and their families first tally the price of dementia support, sticker shock looms large. Specialized wings often outpace ordinary assisted living, and rates swing widely by state, service level, and building age. Yet price sheets reveal only part of the picture. Memory care facilities—communities built for cognitive decline—blend medical oversight, secure design, and […]

These Five Puzzle Games In Your Phone Will Keep You Busy For Hours

Puzzle games started as a simple genre with simple ideas for enjoyment and passing the time. However, they’ve evolved in a big way, and today you can install them on your mobile device. Because they’re among the most popular games, app developers are working to enhance their gameplay and graphics. Today, you’ll rarely find puzzle games with super simple graphics and mechanics. Instead, you’ll encounter puzzles with good graphics and creative stories.

Here are some puzzle games that can keep you glued to your mobile device for hours.

  • Total Party Kill

This game features a trio of heroes who find themselves in dark dungeons with inconvenient escape exits. The only way they can get out of this pit is through sacrifice. As a player, you need to develop a plan that can enable the heroes to get out of the pit. This is a bit complicated because you have to contend with the night hacks who send their swords flying across the screen towards inaccessible switches. Apart from that, the heroes risk being frozen into blocks of ice by the mage. To find an escape route, you need to think hard.

  • Friday The 13th

Friday the 13th is a killer puzzle borrowed from the Hollywood horror movie, Friday the 13th. Your aim in this game is to keep the characters from being murdered horribly. To do this, you have to slide a horror icon into unsuspecting campers to dispatch them. The pathways get more dangerous, and hazards increase as you move to higher levels. This puzzle can be a good fit for you if you love horror movies and like ridiculous things.

  • Turn It On

In this game, you need to turn on new pieces of kits to get higher scores. The game provides you with many switches that you need to twiddle or flick to keep your insanity levels intact. If you take more than 15 minutes on one level and haven’t made a move, you’ll hear meter cranks and your quiet sobbing voice in the background.

  • Tiny Bubbles

Tiny Bubbles is a meditative game set in an environment with gloopy bubbles. You can download it for free on your iOS or Android device. This game is delightful and requires you to match four bubbles of similar colors, which pop in an explosive chain reaction. Its real challenge lies in mixing the bubble colors. If this seems a little boring, you can choose a more exciting game from its arcade mode feature.

  • Aquavias

This sedate path-finding puzzle requires you to deliver water to cities which risk facing drought if you don’t. Doing this isn’t easy because a buffoon has insisted that you deliver the water through fragmented and elevated aqueducts.

You can rotate every section, which consists of a quarter circle or single line, to develop a path for the water to follow. Besides that, you have to rotate taps ninety degrees clockwise. The number of rotations is limited and requires you to make uninformed decisions not to run out of water. The complexity of the pathways increases as you proceed to higher levels.

Bottom Line

Puzzle games are still a darling to many gamers. However, to be glued to your screen for an extended period, you need to select the right types of puzzles. These examples are just some of the many that you can choose.
