You have some important documents that you need to print off, and you’re in a bit of a pinch to do it. The problem is that you happen to be out and about and there’s not a computer in sight…and you needed the documents yesterday.
There’s no time to scope out a PC, so what do you do? Ball up in a corner and cry? Luckily, there’s a better option: you can just print a document from your own phone.
You’ve known your smartphone to do many awesome things, but you’ve probably never thought it could help you print your files. Now you have the convenience to print wherever you go, and best of all, it’s easy to do. This article will show you the ropes, so keep reading to learn more!
Printing for Android
The great thing about printing on an Andriod device is that they’re a step ahead with a preinstalled Google Cloud Print; however, if it’s not on your device, it can be downloaded manually through Google Play.
Go to the Google Cloud Print settings and select “Printer” to find a printer available in your area (make sure your wi-fi is on so you can connect to the printer’s network). Once the printer is added, go to the app you’re printing from and choose the “More Options” section (usually in the top right corner) to find and select the printing option, and voila, your papers will start printing.
Printing for iPhone
Like Android, Apple’s built-in AirPrint allows you to conveniently print your files without needing a third-party app. Of course, this also means you can only use this feature with printers that work with AirPrint, so make sure you know which devices will take it.
After you open AirPrint, check to make sure you’re on the same wi-fi network as the printer you’re using. Next, open the app and find the “Print” option (hint: this may be under “Share”, “Print”, or “Other Options”) Tap “Print” on the printer icon, then select “Choose and AirPrint-Enabled Printer.” Select the name of the printer you’re using, specify any printing needs, and send off the job to your chosen printer.
Printing from Windows
For those still traveling with a Windows phone running on the Windows 10 OS, you’re in luck. Printing options are even easier for you than for the other OS systems.
Open Cortana and type in “Printer”, then select “Printers & Scanners.” Connect the wi-fi network of the printer, and select “Add a Printer or Scanner”, then find the printer’s name and connect. Afterward, simply open the correct app and select the “Print” option from the settings to print off the files and finish the process.
Of course, if you’re going to print out some important files, you’ll want them to look amazing in the process. Make sure to go to Teamconceptprinting.com for the sharpest prints and brightest colors. You definitely won’t be disappointed!
Windows 10 Media Creation Tool is a small executable file that allows you to download Windows 10 and create your preferred installation media. You can use this tool to install or reinstall Windows 10 or upgrade or restore your system if it will not boot to Windows or fail to start after installing a Windows update. You will first need to create the installation media by downloading the tool into a bootable USB drive or DVD drive and use it to create installation media for another PC. Microsoft outlines that to create the installation media, you need reliable, high-speed internet, a blank USB flash drive or DVD, and a Product Key. After you’ve created the installation media, you can reset or reinstall your Windows 10 or use it to upgrade from an older Windows version to the latest version of Windows 10 using your Windows license.
