In addition to filing forms, you can also utilize some basic tools on the IRS website. These tools are for your convenience, so any information you provide is voluntary, meaning that you automatically agree that they can use it for internal purposes.
One thing to remember is that all of your information is stored at the IRS only. It is not shared with other agencies or sold to third-party entities. Any correspondence that you have with the organization is private and confidential.
